Modern medicine is infested with systemic cancer. The only question, is the infection terminal. Literally every aspect of modern medicine is infected with corruption, and ethical compromise as a result of addiction to enormous profits and the trappings of power. It appears that the old cliché, “power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely,” is true. The following facts paint a very clear picture of the cancer that infects modern medicine and the associated industries.

Health care legislation and institutional corruption
The health care bill that just passed into law has nothing to do with either health or care. It was the most personally invasive, tyrannical and freedom restricting legislation passed in modern times America. This legislation was designed to control money, personal freedoms and break the free market system in America. However, it did just what it was intended to do take more money and freedoms away from so-called free Americans. Our leaders are not only assaulting our personal freedoms but the constitution and the bill of rights as well.

For the first time in this country, Americans will be forced to purchase a product or service, weather they need or want it or not. This forced compliance is the definition of governmental tyranny. It is ironic that Americas freedoms are being revoked by those who swear by their oath of office to protect those same freedoms they are now intentionally revoking. I never thought I would see the day that our great country would be ruled by lawless institutional criminals and thugs.

Corruption and fraud in medicine
Modern medicine has put power, control and profits before good medicine for the better part of 100 years now. The American Medical Association (AMA), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the American Cancer Society all conspire to retain even increase power to perpetuate the status quo of enormous profits at the expense of the pain a suffering of a diseased ridden honest hard working America. If you doubt these facts, consider the following.

Denying freedom of choice (tyranny)
Currently, armed raids are regularly conducted by the FDA on vitamin shops and natural health clinics for purposes of crushing free choice by denying the public access to nutritional supplements and alternative medicine.

Eliminating competition (alternative health choices)
The FDA is currently trying to put a stranglehold on any kind of alternative medicine by regulating the competition out of existence through the new "CAM Guidelines." These guidelines are so restrictive that they may classify vegetable juice as a "drug" and require FDA approval before vegetable juice can be legally sold. Of course, the sole purpose of the CAM Guidelines is to oppress all competition such as naturopathic practices and products, limiting consumers' health care choices to drugs and surgery. Is there any doubt that government and the corrupt powers that be are praying on the misfortunes of illness and disease only to control and perpetuate enormous profits.

Fallacious information to oppress natural medicine
The FDA has regularly used false information to ban competitive agents like medicinal herbs. They routinely invent or exaggerate information to take punitive action against natural medicine.

Fallacious propaganda manipulates consumers
Along with the FDA, drug companies and legislators, the mainstream media rounds out the corrupt stranglehold on the health care system in America. We regularly see scare stories about vitamins and nutritional supplements in the media designed to scar largely naive consumers away from nutritional therapies in an effort to herd them into enormously profitable, dangerous even deadly drug treatments.

Illegal to treat cancer with any other than FDA-approved medical protocols
It is currently illegal to treat cancer with any other medical protocol than the FDA-approved deadly three, (chemotherapy, radiation and surgery). For this reason, many good cancer doctors have either fled the United States or operate in secret, afraid to advertise their therapies for fear of being subject to the tyranny of the powerful health authorities (Federal government, AMA and FDA).

Illegal to tell the truth
Currently, it is illegal for food supplement (vitamin, mineral, herb etc.) companies to tell the truth about the health benefits of their drug competing products. The FDA has launched vicious attacks and threatened many companies with costly litigation for making public scientifically-validated information about the health benefits of their drug alternative products. These alternative product companies are required to print on their products, “this product is not intended to treat or cure any illness or disease,” even though there is enormous scientific evidence to the contrary.

Lethargic FDA safety action subject citizens to dangerous drug treatments for profit
Currently, U.S. citizens are routinely subjected to experimental drugs because the FDA false to do their job. Consequently, the dangerous impact of many new drugs are found only after they harm or kill tens of thousands of guinea pig patients. The FDA is remarkably slow to pull dangerous drugs off the market, especially when they generate robust profits.

More abuse of power and greed at the expense of the seriously ill
Lane Labs Corporation, a company that manufactures very effective anti-cancer supplements has been the victim of many vicious attacks by the FDA and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Now Lane Labs is "targeted for termination" by these authorities, presumably to prevent any competition from products that are proven successful in reducing and/or curing cancer. The medical industry and powers that be (conventional medicine) depend on the extremely lucrative profits from cancer sufferers and associated treatments to perpetuate revenues. Competition from effective natural remedies and cures for cancer receive zero tolerance from those in power.

Profits much more important than consumer safety
The FDA refuses to do its job and protect the public from proven dangerous drugs when it conflicts with protecting big pharma profits. Want proof; the FDA allowed Vioxx back on the market after the drug killed more than 50,000 Americans. Incidentally, the drug manufacturer voluntarily recalled the drug to avoid more deaths and potential litigation. Let me see, which is more interested in the welfare of consumers, corrupt government and regulatory agencies who allowed a dangerous drug to remain on the market to perpetuate profits and subvert legal recourse or the free market that pulls the product in fear of litigation it can’t control?

Rampant ethical problems
Big Pharma aggressively operates a system infected with major problems from ethical compromise to criminal activity. The cancer goes from approving known dangerous drugs to increase profits to disapproving scientifically proven effective protocols because they are less profitable. Conflicts of interest run so deep in the FDA that such conflict information is considered top secret.

Tyrannical power base in America
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the U.S. legislature (congress and senate – lawmakers) and the mainstream media are the tyrannical power base in American. These agencies are totally controlled by the drug companies (Big Pharma) now. The FDA makes no decision without close collaboration with Big Pharma which keeps the stranglehold on the big drug profit money machine running while effectively avoiding public scrutiny, embarrassment and holds costly litigation to a minimum. The proof lies in the fact that new laws passed by U.S. legislators relating to the health care industries only serve to perpetuate the covert financial and even corrupt relationship between Big Pharma and the FDA.

Waging war on doctors who use non-FDA approved protocols
Medical licensing boards conduct secret investigations and stings to out doctors who prescribe vitamins and/or alternative therapies against Big Pharma protocol unwritten mandates. Doctors who are found to deviate from standard (drug, chemo, surgery) protocol practice are targeted for prosecution and/or medical license revocation.

The solution
After digesting the information above, perhaps you are beginning to see that the answer to human problems is not more external or institutional control (government, employer, relatives, friends etc.) The answer lies in a societal demand and return to self-respect, personal responsibility and discipline. The golden rule comes to mind, “treat others, including nature, as though you would like to be treated.”

As a naturopathic doctor, I believe the answer to all health problems is restoring internal biochemical balance and living in harmony with nature. Of course, drugs, radiation and surgery are rarely part of creating or restoring this balance. Perhaps what disturbs me more than the current refusal of humans to live in harmony with nature is the sinister nature of a system that not only promotes ill health behavior for profit but knowingly prays on the resulting illness and disease for no other than control, profit and power.
