Health Benefits of Blended Green Food
Blended green food/drink has been referred to as perfect food. When using the correct blend
of raw, organic green vegetables, one is delivering nutritional properties that are in harmony

SECONDARY (fresh raw frozen is OK); Pineapple, Pares, Peaches, Grapes, Grapefruit, Mangos, Strawberries, Kiwi, Berries, Figs, Dates, Raisins, Apricots, Plumbs, Watermelon & all melons,
30-40% Green Leaf Vegetables;
PRIMARY; Spinach, Kale, Chards, Turnip greens, Lambs Quarter
SECONDARY; Celery, Cucumbers, Beats & greens, All Squashes,
Parsley, Mint, Lettuce (except iceberg), Ginger root
10-20% Fresh squeezed juice;
PRIMARY CITRUS; Lemon, Lime
SECONDARY; Carrot, Orange, or a blend any of the fruits & vegetables above
GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPES
It’s important to remember that all ingredients should be fresh, ripe, raw
and organic whenever possible. As long as you stick to a blend of 50% fruit, 40% green leafy vegetables
and 10% fresh squeezed juice you will be creating a green smoothie. Choose your favorite fruits, vegetables
and juices to create your own blends and favorite green smoothies. Keep in mind that the more green
leafy vegetables in your smoothies the healthier more nutritious they are.
My Own Green Power Blend = Bananas, Spinach and/or Kale, Mango, Watermelon
and/or Cantaloupe, Flaxseed, Spirulina and/or Chlorella,
Lemon juice, Mint, Garlic and Ginger Root
- More fruit for better taste
- More green, garlic and ginger root for more nutrition and internal cleansing
- Experiment with each amount to suit your own taste

Orange - Banana - Chard
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Makes about 8 ounces
Zest of an orange
1 whole seedless orange, cut in quarters, flesh and sections (yes, pith and all, for fiber)
1/2 banana
1 large Swiss chard leaf (ribs sliced away)
Water to thin
1 tablespoon of wheat germ
Blend all ingredients in the blender. Taste and adjust.
